Summer Dance

In the rollercoaster of mixed emotions, Summer Dance is covering all bases from chaos to love.

On Saturday February 24th, we’re unleashing our favourite brothers onto The Courts as the New Zealand duo, Chaos in the CBD, lay their mellow-infused house like a blanket over our open-air, daytime affair.

Like the sun, Jennifer Loveless will be heating up the courts as she dives into the pocket. And to set the pace for the marathon, is Eora’s favorite, Cleo!

As the sun takes its final bow and nightfall sweeps in, Summer Dance AFTER DARK is set to keep the party alive.

Inside Liberty Hall’s custom-built club spectacle, a true bromance reaches its peak. A mutation of sounds as heavyweights Sam Alfred and Club Angel collide their sounds in a monstrous B2B.

But it wouldn’t be a bonfire without a fire starter. In fact, we may need two. All the way from Manchester, the godfather of breakbeat garage, Zed Bias, will be serving nothing but nourishing sounds to a hungry crowd. With Eora powerhouse Kai Lover opening the night, giving us that toe-tapping, feel-good house everyone orders for the table.

Summer Dance After Dark

As the sun takes its final bow and nightfall sweeps in, Summer Dance AFTER DARK is set to keep the party alive.

Take a trip around the globe with one of our BIGGEST & SWEATIEST lineups to date! ALL INTERNATIONAL. ALL. NIGHT. LONG! The French feel-good maestro, Folamour, is gracing the stage once again for yet another set of the day. Blessing every inch of our bodies with pure ENERGY. It doesn’t stop there; repping Peckham is none other than the man with no boundaries, Bradley Zero, and one of the leaders of the new school, Tarzsa.

This lineup guarantees nothing but a monster night as Liberty Hall undergoes a metamorphosis with our custom-built club spectacle.

See you there on Jan 27 for the next mega installment of AFTER DARK. There’s a limited number of tickets available, so act fast! CONSIDER THIS YOUR WARNING!

Summer Dance

After bearing witness to some truly raucous and joyous scenes to set off the new year – SUMMER DANCE returns with yet another monster lineup to get our beautiful dancers salivating. Saturday January 27th we’re bringing in the French maestro FOLAMOUR (FR) for a sunset master class on The Courts at Liberty Hall. Our open-air, day time affair will also welcome in one of the world’s most trusted and versatile – LAURENCE GUY (UK) along with Eora favourite BRIA to set the tone.

An absolutely scorching day of sun-soaked house, disco and beyond from the some of the finest to do it across this planet – SUMMER DANCE continues to deliver the hot n’ sweaty goods.

Later, as the sun flips to the moon, the party doesn’t stop. Our AFTER DARK spectacle within Liberty Hall will be back to compliment the day. However, you will have to wait later this month to find out what special guests we’ve got cooking in the oven. Keep those eyes peeled!

Think uplifting, melodic, disco-infused house music, and you’re on the money. Headlining our day party – FOLAMOUR returns to Sydney at the peak of his powers ready to guide us for a memorable close out on the asphalt. The producer / DJ has carved a distinctive niche in the electronic music scene with his soulful and eclectic sound. FOLAMOUR is widely recognised for his ability to create immersive, groove-filled experiences. His dynamic sets and unique musical perspective continue to captivate audiences, establishing him as a notable figure in the dance-sphere.

A mighty lineup of clubbing know-how – LAURENCE GUY also joins proceedings to show us how it’s done. His willingness to probe new styles and inspect unfamiliar spaces is part of what has led to him becoming one of the UK’s finest musical exports. Having crafted his own signature of sophisticated underground music, Laurence will take you everywhere and back again. Rounding things out, Eora’s prolific BRIA comes to flex. Much loved and known for her eclectic taste on FBi and Nomad Radio, dancers can expect all the right frequencies from doors til close.

A highly considered, forward-thinking party built for our community. Summer Dance’s identity comes from an attitude founded on diversity, openness and exchange. Shake off your inhibitions, let off some steam and shake it like ya mumma gave ya! An event absolutely soaking in good vibrations.

Summer Dance After Dark

Taking the round inside the Liberty Hall club spectacle once more is a genre-traversing night of selectors for AFTER DARK, each artist a fan of the culture and scene as much as they are a participant. Local heavyweight MUNASIB is a Bengali DJ, filmmaker, radio host, and curator whose approach to music is as multiple as her titles. LADY SHAKA is one of the most exciting frontrunners of the global dance scene, pioneering the queer scene while re-indigenizing the mainstream with music that is both Pasifika and ancestral.

Taking us home is YUNG SINGH, his name preceding himself, a champion of the South Asian renaissance and eclectic DJ who refuses to be boxed in with mixes that journey from garage to hip-hop to trance to Punjabi folk.

With raucous live shows taking over the country earlier this year, they make their return this time in DJ mode, sharing cinematic house and two-step garage.

The ever-inventive ROSS FROM FRIENDS joins too, sharing his unique blend of euphoric house and techy IDM that has captured the world over. Rounding it out, Eora’s own WILLO will be kicking off the year after a massive 2023 of new bubbly dance hits and her biggest headline shows to date.
