Slaughter to Prevail

Slaughter to Prevail, emerging from metal’s shadows wields an unyielding sound akin to a storm’s fury. Fronted by Alex Terrible, their deathcore-blackened metal fusion is relentless, leaving no survivors.

Hailing from Russia and later relocating to the US, their music champions unity amidst conflict. “1984,” their resonant single against violence, exemplifies their message. Their electrifying tours, including headline shows and prestigious festival slots, showcase their blend of aggression and melody. Slaughter to Prevail’s dedication, anti-violence stance, and captivating compositions position them for a historic presence in metal.

Dayseeker

In 2024 The Earth Will Turn, with American genre-trailblazers DAYSEEKER today announcing their triumphant return down under next July, joined by special guests CASEY, LANDON TEWERS and INERTIA.

Marking their debut headline Australian tour following the band’s first visit in 2022 supporting Thornhill and again this year supporting Beartooth and Pierce The Veil, DAYSEEKER are primed to bring their hypnotic hard rock and metallic catharsis to vivid life across Australia and also over to New Zealand in 2024.

Hailing from Southern California, DAYSEEKER irresistibly fuse immersive soundscapes with glistening post-pop, experimental indie, alternative R&B and beyond into their magnetic sonic creations, with their invigorating take on modern rock’n’roll snagging the quartet hundreds of millions of streams, sold out shows and a series of acclaimed releases since forming in 2012.

Recently unveiling their fifth studio album, 2022’s Dark Sun, DAYSEEKER journeys through searingly intimate themes and an abundance of stylistic fluctuations, building upon their previous full-lengths What It Means To Be Defeated (2013), Origin (2015), Dreaming Is Sinking // Waking Is Rising (2017) and their 2019 opus Sleeptalk.

All the way from South Wales in the UK, melodic hardcore rockers CASEY are renowned for their experimental flair and emotionally raw lyrical content. Flitting between atmospheric ambience, churning riffs and spoken word, CASEY have consistently dazzled since forming in 2014, with a brand new album How To Disappear set for release in 2024 following on from 2018’s Where I Go When I Am Sleeping.

Alongside his tenure as lead vocalist for American rockers The Plot In You, versatile musician and producer LANDON TEWERS has gifted fans multiple solo albums over the years, including 2016’s Dynamite and 2019’s Withdrawls. Embracing intimacy alongside pop subtleties and heavier nods, TEWERS‘ solo work previously saw him tour down under in 2022 with Ghost Atlas, aka Jesse of ERRA.

Flourishing on a foundation of soulful dark pop and explosive, driving riffs, Sydney’s INERTIA bring a refreshing blend of pop sensibilities and hard-hitting intensity.

Nia Archives

After absolutely storming Australia last year, Mobo winning Junglist Nia Archives is back presenting her Up in Archives series off the back of Laneway festival.

Born in Bradford and raised in Leeds before moving to Manchester, the North of England lays claim to one of the UK jungle scene’s most blistering arrivals: 23-year-
old producer Nia Archives.

After being mentored via the EQ50 scheme which helps women junglists and drum ‘n’ bass artists, the new jen junglist released her debut EP, Headz Gone West, in 2021 which saw tracks like ‘Sober Feels’ rack up 7.5M+ global Spotify streams. However, it was arguably Archives’ second EP, Forbidden Feelingz, which would be released in 2022 to widespread critical acclaim. Nods of approval were earned from Rolling Stone UK, GQ, British Vogue, The Face, Pitchfork, The Fader, i-D, and CRACK Magazine. She also scooped up a number of awards, including NME Bandlab Award for ‘Best Producer’, MOBO Award for Best Electronic/Dance Act, being named the BBC Introducing “Artist of the Year” – the award’s first electronic music recipient, AIM Awards “One To Watch” prize, DJ Mag Awards for “Breakthrough Producer”, a Brits Rising Star nomination and finished #3 in BBC Sound Poll.
Nia Archives’ latest EP, Sunrise Bang Ur Head Against Tha Wall, is a six-track EP that explores her personal growth: love, loss, rejection, estrangement, the come-up and the come-down. The EP includes UK Dance charting track ‘Baianá’, ‘No Need 2 B Sorry, Call Me?’ featuring Maverick Sabre, and the heart-tugging strings of ‘So Tell Me…’.
