FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Performance times for any event are released at the discretion of the organiser or artist. We are unable to respond to any enquiries received regarding performance times.

Each event will have its own age restrictions, so please always check the ticketing page before purchase. Please ensure you have valid identification on entry, as refunds will not be issued if you are unable to present your ID. As always, there are legal requirements and in-house policies that are designed for your safety.

Liberty Hall is a cashless venue. Only eftpos will be accepted and surcharges apply.

We have a cloak room at the box office desk located inside the front entry. There is a $5 fee per locker and only eftpos will be accepted.

Moshtix is the only authorised ticket seller for events held at Liberty Hall.

Only purchase tickets via the official ticketing website (Moshtix) or the event page on our website. Moshtix is the only authorised ticket seller for events held at Liberty Hall. Please be aware the venue has no obligation to honour tickets purchased from or through un-authorised re-sellers. If you attend the event with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised seller, you may be refused entry to the event. Often the tickets have fake barcodes or have been sold to multiple people.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Companion Card promotes the rights of those who require a companion to fair ticketing at events and venues. Companions do NOT need to purchase a ticket to attend any event. A valid companion card must be provided on entry. For further information, please submit an accessibility enquiry via our Contact Form.

Liberty Hall is a fully standing venue with limited reserved accessible seating available. We advise submitting an accessibility enquiry via our Contact Form as early as possible to ensure seating is available to reserve.

LOST PROPERTY

If found, lost property is collected at the end of every event and kept at the box office for a maximum period of 28 days.

Please submit a lost property enquiry via our Contact Form to organise a time to collect your item.

After the 28 day period, if the property remains unclaimed, the items will be safely disposed of or donated to charity.

If any item has been left in the cloak room following an event, we will be in touch the following week, via the mobile number provided when cloaking the item, to arrange collection.

If you haven’t heard from us within a week, please submit a lost property enquiry via our Contact Form.

EVENT DAY

Light rail and bus is your best bet. If you’re driving, the Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. Please see our Location page for more details on how to get here from wherever you are.

Sorry, no camping is permitted outside the venue or in the Entertainment Quarter precinct. You are not permitted to line up any earlier than 12pm on the day of the event.

Liberty Hall is a non-smoking venue, so all types of smoking is prohibited, including e-cigarettes. You have to be at least 10 metres from the venue to smoke.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Please note ONLY empty plastic bottles are allowed inside the venue as a safety precaution. Glass or metal bottles are prohibited. We have multiple spots where these can be filled up inside or water bottles can be purchased.

Cameras with a detachable telephoto lens or a lens that extends more than 5cm from the body of the camera. Flash photography is not permitted.

Umbrellas longer than 300mm (when in the closed position)

Flags or signs larger than 30cm x 30cm, flag pole not attached and content must not be offensive in any nature

Motorbike helmets, balaclavas or face coverings

Weapons of any kind, including any item that can be used as a projectile

Laser Pointers, permanent marker / felt type pens, scissors or aerosol canisters

Backpacks and any other bags larger than the approved size of 30cm H x 30cm L Baggage size guides are available upon entry to verify the approve sizes permitted inside the venue.

Alcohol or illegal substances of any kind

Cans and bottles of any kind or eskies / hard cased cooler bags

Chains and spiked wrist / neck bands/ studded belts or shoes

Glow sticks and other such illuminating objects

Selfie Sticks / Monopods or Tripods Bicycles, skateboards / skates

Chewing Gum

Banners, posters, flags or signs larger than an A4 sheet of paper

Fireworks or flares

Animals (excluding service animals)

Liquids including but not limited to e-cigarette liquids, hand sanitiser, contact lens fluid, perfumes/ fragrances

Nasal inhalers (prescription/ non-prescription medicine may be allowed subject to check by the medical team)

Other Items determined by Management that may cause injury or public nuisance.

VALID ID

A current Australian driver’s licence

A current passport (Australian or foreign)

A NSW Photo Card

A proof-of-age card from another Australian state or territory

ID must be physical, non expired and valid and photos or scans will not be accepted.
